Meeting Your Group at an Irish Airport

Landing with a group? Pick your airport to see its terminals and the practical details that shape your pickup, from where vehicles wait to how far you'll travel to your first night's bed.

Where your driver can meet you

Every airport handles group pickups a little differently. At Dublin, private-hire coaches collect only from the Zone 16 coach park, not outside the terminals. Cork asks minibus and coach operators to use Bus Bays C and D at the front of the terminal. Shannon keeps minibuses and coaches in its coach parks rather than at the door, while at Kerry the bus terminus is right outside the main building.

Rules worth knowing

  • Cars and vans hired for up to 8 passengers must be NTA-licensed hackneys or limousines, pre-booked with the fare agreed in advance

Bags count as much as people

Tell us how many suitcases, buggies and golf bags are coming along. Luggage fills a vehicle faster than passengers do, and it may tip the booking into a bigger minibus or a coach.

Share your flight number

With the flight number, the operator can keep an eye on delays. If you're heading straight off sightseeing after landing, say so, because a long delay uses up part of the driver's day and the plan may need adjusting.
