Bray Minibuses Between the Sea and the Mountains

Bray gives you a Victorian seafront, a cliff walk and the Wicklow Mountains, with Dublin just up the road. A minibus with a driver lets your group enjoy all of it, and nobody has to draw the short straw and drive.

Getting to and from Dublin Airport

Allow 40 to 50 minutes for the roughly 40 km to Dublin Airport on the M11 and M50. Going round the western side means crossing the M50 toll point between Junctions 6 and 7. There's no barrier or booth; payment is due by 8pm the following day, and the quote can spell out who looks after it.

Share your flight numbers and luggage count with your request. For seven or fewer travellers, an executive van may be the better choice.

Walk one way, ride back

Around Bray Head to Greystones on foot is about 7 km of coastal path. Your driver can drop everyone at the Bray end and be waiting in Greystones, only about 15 minutes back by road, so nobody has to walk it twice.

Gardens, glens and Avoca

Powerscourt Estate and Waterfall near Enniskerry is about 15 minutes away, and Killruddery House and Gardens sits on the southern edge of Bray. Up in the Wicklow Mountains, the old monastic settlement at Glendalough is some 45 minutes' drive, and Avoca about 50, so the two pair nicely in one day.

Dublin city centre is only about 20 km, but it usually takes around 40 minutes, so allow for that when you book a show or dinner.

Staying on the seafront or in the hills

Hotels and guesthouses line the seafront, and there are more up in Enniskerry near Powerscourt and down in Greystones. Send us each address and the operator confirms where the minibus can set down and park, so pickups go smoothly on busy summer days.

Is there a toll on the way to Dublin Airport?

Yes, if you go the western M50 way: there's a toll point between Junctions 6 and 7, payable by 8pm on the following day. Your quote can show how it's handled.

Will someone meet us at the Greystones end of the Cliff Walk?

Yes. Tell us roughly when you'll set off and the driver will be at Greystones to bring you back.

Can we visit Glendalough and Powerscourt in one day?

Yes. Powerscourt is about 15 minutes from Bray and Glendalough about 45, so a morning at one and an afternoon at the other works well.

Can you take our supporters to the Carlisle Grounds?
