Travelling Together to Ireland's Big Events

Some days the whole country seems to be on the move. Pick an event for its dates, then use the tips below to plan the journey.

Dates to watch in 2027

St Patrick's Festival runs from 13 to 17 March 2027 in Dublin, with the parade on Wednesday 17 March. The Galway Races Summer Festival is on from 26 July to 1 August at Ballybrit, and the National Ploughing Championships come to Rathangan, Co. Kildare, from 21 to 23 September. Croke Park usually hosts the All-Ireland finals in July, hurling first and then football, though the 2027 dates aren't out yet.

Expect to walk the last stretch

Big crowds mean closed roads and set-down points further from the gate. For the 2026 All-Ireland finals, Gardaí provided no coach set-down near Croke Park, and coach parking was at the NTA Docklands Coach Park. Agree a meeting spot and a time with everyone before they leave the vehicle.

Book well ahead

Vehicles go quickly around these dates. Groups coming from the far side of the country may also need a second driver or an overnight stop to get home safely.

Questions

Will the driver wait for us?

Usually the vehicle heads off to park and returns at the time you agree.

Can you get us tickets?

No. We look after getting you there and back.

Can we collect people in more than one town?

Yes, if they're on the way. List each pickup with a time.
