Minibus Hire for Small Groups Around Ireland
Travelling with family, a wedding party, a visiting club or a small tour group? We arrange a minibus and a driver for your day out, and a larger coach when the numbers call for one.
Why so many small groups choose a minibus
Most minibuses seat 16 to 19 people, which suits an extended family, a hen party or a club bringing a few supporters along. Everyone travels together, the driver deals with the roads and the parking, and nobody has to skip a drink to get the others home.
For seven or fewer, a people carrier does the job nicely. Once you're heading towards thirty or more, a midi-coach or a full-size coach makes more sense.

Touring at your own pace
With your own vehicle, the day follows what your group wants to see. From Galway, Cong and Ashford Castle are about 50 minutes away and the Burren about an hour. From Killarney, Kate Kearney's Cottage at the Gap of Dunloe is roughly 15 minutes out, and Dingle about an hour and a quarter. From Dublin, Glendalough is around an hour into the Wicklow hills.
A few favourite stops want to hear from groups before they arrive. At the Cliffs of Moher, any party of 10 or more has to book ahead, and Brú na Bóinne asks groups of 15 to 30 to reserve a time slot. Name those places in your request so the timings on your quote leave room for them.
Who actually runs your trip
We're a booking service, not a bus company. Each minibus, coach or car you book through us comes from a licensed, insured operator, and that operator provides the driver as well. We find one with the right vehicle free on your dates, ask them to price your plan, and look after the booking with you from first message to final drop-off.
You'll receive a single written quote for the whole trip, showing the vehicle, the hours, the route and the operator's cancellation terms. You pay only after accepting it, with no obligation to say yes.
Long days and week-long tours
Drivers work under EU limits. After four and a half hours at the wheel they need a break of at least 45 minutes, and daily driving normally stops at nine hours. That shapes a day on the Ring of Kerry, which takes a full day with stops, or an arrival at Dublin Airport followed by the run to Letterkenny, about three hours by road. On a longer tour, the operator plans each day's driving with the rest of the week in mind.
Wheelchair users and airport arrivals
If someone in your party uses a wheelchair, ask for an accessible minibus, which has a wheelchair space alongside its ordinary seats so nobody travels separately. If your holiday starts with a flight into Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Knock or Kerry, the airport pickup can be part of the same request.
Questions
Will our luggage fit in a minibus?
There's a luggage compartment at the back, but suitcases for a full minibus fill it quickly. Tell us about bags, buggies and golf clubs so the operator can suggest a bigger vehicle if needed.
Can we stop wherever we like?
Within reason. The driver needs somewhere safe and legal to pull in, and several towns set aside particular spots for buses and coaches. Put your stops in the request and the operator will plan around them.
Which parts of the country do you cover?
Sixteen towns and cities across the Republic have their own pages, from Dublin and Galway to Tralee and Letterkenny, and trips starting anywhere else in the Republic can be requested too.
