From Farranfore to your hotel

Flying into Kerry means landing at Farranfore, only about 15 km from town, or 15 to 20 minutes on the road, so you'll be checked in shortly after landing. Shannon and Cork airports also serve Kerry visitors, though both mean a much longer transfer.

In town and around Tralee Bay

Kerry County Museum on Denny Street and a performance at Siamsa Tíre, the National Folk Theatre, make a lovely pairing for a wet afternoon. Blennerville Windmill and the Tralee Bay Wetlands sit at the edge of the bay, and Banna Strand is about 15 minutes out.

Dingle, Killarney and Ballybunion

Dingle is about an hour away via the N86, which makes it a day in its own right. Killarney and Ballybunion are each around 35 minutes, easy half-days that leave the evening free.

On a very full day, bear in mind the driver's hours. A break of at least 45 minutes is required after four and a half hours of driving, and daily driving is capped at nine hours. Most Kerry outings sit well inside that; a packed programme may need a later start.

Yes. Kerry GAA play football and hurling there. Send the throw-in time and your pickup points, and we'll arrange the rest with the operator.

We are 40 people. Is a minibus still right?

Probably not. Minibuses typically seat 16 to 19, so for 40 a full-size coach is the usual choice, or two minibuses if you'd like to split the group for different outings.
