A chauffeured car for one to three guests
Sometimes the group is just one or two people who matter a great deal: a keynote speaker, a visiting grandparent, a VIP guest or the couple on their wedding day.
The car itself
This is a premium saloon of the E-Class type, driven by a chauffeur, for 1 to 3 passengers. On a non-hybrid E-Class the boot holds about 540 litres, enough for a couple of suitcases and a laptop bag. With four travellers or golf bags, a people carrier will be more comfortable.

Licensed for hire
The law treats a chauffeured car as a small public service vehicle, so it must carry an NTA licence as a hackney or a limousine. If your company's travel policy wants the licence type on file, ask for it on the quote, and check that passenger names match the booking. For a surprise pickup, such as a grandparent flying home for a family occasion, give the driver a name to hold up and a few words about who to look for.
Typical features
- Hired cars must be NTA-licensed small public service vehicles (hackney or limousine)
- Meet-and-greet at airport arrivals
- Chauffeur-driven premium saloon
Met at arrivals
Your guest is met in the arrivals hall as part of this class, so they walk out to a friendly face rather than hunting for a car park. Include the flight number when you book, so the pickup follows the real landing time, and a mobile number in case passport control is slow. If the flight lands late in the evening, say whether your guest would like to go straight to the hotel or stop somewhere first.
Cars work nicely alongside a group booking. At a conference, a car can shuttle the speaker between hotel and venue while delegates go by coach. At a wedding, it carries the couple while guests follow by minibus.
Questions
How many people fit in an executive car?
One to three passengers. For four or more, a people carrier is the better choice.
How big is the boot?
Roughly 540 litres in a non-hybrid E-Class. Describe your luggage at booking, and you'll hear back if it won't fit.
Will the driver meet us inside the terminal?
Yes, greeting passengers at arrivals is included with this class. Just add the flight number to the booking.
